As a photographer who thrives on capturing the essence of joy and adventure, I recently had the pleasure of working with a delightful young couple for a photoshoot at Sager Conservation Area. Known for its beautiful surroundings, Sager Conservation Area provided the perfect backdrop for a memorable session filled with laughter and love. In the heart of October, the sun painted the hills in warm hues as we embarked on an exciting adventure session amid the fall colors and views.


The day began at the parking lot, where the couple's infectious enthusiasm set the tone for a fun-filled adventure. As we made our way up the stairs, surrounded by the vibrant hues of October, the forest canopy above us painted us with sunshine. Right from the first shots I knew this was going to be a great session!

After the stairs we ran up to “sunset bench” to catch a different view of the area before heading up the lookout tower. Against the backdrop, the couple embraced the spontaneity of the moment with a playful piggyback ride. The laughter echoed through the trees, and was caught through the lens.

Eager to explore more, we walked up the lookout tower, a vantage point that offered sweeping views of the rolling hills, and of Belleville, Trenton, and Stirling. We utilized as much as we could to get some great photos of the two of them.


As the couple descended the tower, I seized the opportunity to capture candid moments of them walking and dancing at different levels. The changing perspectives added a dynamic element to the collection, showcasing the couple from various angles.

Venturing back down the tower, the couple danced on the trail below while I documented from different levels of the tall structure. The journey continued as we descended the stairs into the heart of the forest, a serene and enchanting space where nature embraced us with open arms. The sunlight played hide-and-seek through the trees, creating a captivating dance of shadows and light. I couldn't help but adore how silly and carefree they were in the moment, allowing me to capture their genuine expressions of happiness.


In conclusion, this photoshoot at Sager Conservation Area was a celebration of love, laughter, and the simple joys of life. The natural beauty of the location paired with the couple's easygoing and laidback demeanor created a harmonious blend, resulting in a collection of photos that radiated warmth and authenticity.
